- Where to find it
- Labelled Hide Widget in the Widget Settings drawer (gear in the widget header).
- Per device
- Yes — you can set one value for every screen, or separate values for phone, tablet, and desktop.
In plain English
When a widget is hidden for a device, it still appears on the editing canvas so you can keep working on it, but it is omitted in preview and on the published page for that device.
When you would use it
- An embed should appear on desktop only.
- A promotional widget should be hidden on phones.
How to change it
- Open Widget Settings from the gear, then "Hide Widget".
- Choose the same value for all resolutions, or set phone, tablet, and desktop separately.
One value, or one per device? Every input in this setting sits under a “Same value for all resolutions” checkbox. Leave it checked for a single value everywhere, or uncheck it to give phones, tablets, and desktops their own. How per-device values work.
Watch out for
- Hiding is left out on the editing canvas on purpose — if the widget disappeared while you were editing it, you would have nothing left to edit. Open Preview to confirm it is gone for the chosen widths.
- Hiding the widget hides every row, column, and component in it for that device.
- Hide Column and Hide Row only hide those smaller scopes, not the whole widget.
